When The Lord Came Into My Life
The Lord came into my life when I was four years old, I am now 61 . My mom always made it a point that when she got home from work on Sunday morning that we all went to church. The Lord started working on me as soon as I entered the church. As I grew up God showed me the many wonders of what it would be like living for him. There were times that I didn't think that God was listeng or helping me but he was . I just didn't see how he was doing it. My dad died when I was six years old and the Lord put another dad in my life and in my mothers life.She was raising four of us before she met my new dad. He was raising a son as his wife had died of cancer. A few years later my dad adoped all of us kids. That was a happy day in my life. I have a brother that lives in Kalamazoo Mi. whom I miss very much and I wish I could find so we could talk. Jimmy I miss you a whole lot and love you. I have another brother that lives in CharlestownNH. who I talk to as much as possible. My sisters live in Connecticut and I talk to them once in a while. I have nieces and nephews all over the country. When I became a teenager I rebelled and had some problems. The Lord didn't forget me. He showed me what to do. I smoked and drank when I was younger, but God never forgot me. Married in 1969, them at 25 I had my son a year later.Then six years later I had my daughter, after six miscarrages. I took my children to church and tryed to show them that they needed the Lord also. Then the church I was going to at that time through me out because I had cancer and had to have surgery where I would never have children again at the age of 32. That hurt a lot ,as I knew that God would not forsake me, and not have him in my life. I have servived three bouts of cancer, a head on car crash and many back surgery and now the doctors say I have heart problems.The doctors told me that I should not be alive but I know the Lord has kepted me here for a reason. I stopped going to church and had the attitude that I didn't have to have a building around me to have God with me in my life. All I had to do was find a place where I could be alone to pray to God, and yes you do need a church to get the preaching of the word. I get divorced 24 years later. I met a great Christian fellow whom I am married to now. I become a Christian again ten years ago thanks to Keith, not that I ever gave up on the Lord but I started to attend church again. I attended a church in the Portland Oregon area at that time was named Neighborhood United Pentecostal Church now known as Apostolic Worship Center, Pastor Michael Sponsler and Pastor George Sponsler were my pastor's and they both helped me a lot. Now I attend a great Church in Auburn Washington with another great Pastor, Pastor Michael Luke. Everyone I have come in contact with sense I started back to church are great Christians. I have met a lot of great christians on the web also, one is Connie whom has helped me a lot on my web site. I lost my second dad in January 1984 my mom in January 2002 both from heart falure and I miss them both a lot I never got to say good buy to them as they were both on the East Coast and I am on the West Coast. I know they are in a better place. So I hope anyone that reads my page will make sure that you trust in the Lord to show you the way no matter if you are a Christian or not. Also if you have family please keep in touch with them as you never know when you will lose one of them as I have lost my mom, two dads and a neice. Just a few months ago I lost my mother-in law to cancer and also lost a very dear friend in January to cancer.The Lord loves us all. God is Great and Greatly to Be Praised. In my walk with Jesus I have meet some great preachers such as Brother Peterson, Brother Atkins, Brother Walker,Brother Bow, Brother Reynolds, this is just to mention a few in the long list. I have been involved in some great Revivals and I have been Baptized in the name of Jesus. I don't know what I would do with out God in my life. He is a big part of it and my first Love. The pastor's wife's makes a big difference in the church also as they help a lot and stand behind the Pastors . I believe in the Lord Jesus. Thank you Lord Jesus for putting great people in my life. I need prayer as my husband Keith as he is out of church now . I have had victory again, as I have been contact with my brother Jimmy that I have not seen in 40 years. I have spoken to him on the phone and email him offen. Thank you Jesus. I have also met some great people through my site. Thank you all for signing my guest book and God Bless you all.
I have found out my brother is not well and needs prayer. I have dedicated myself to the Lord and doing work in his name. If anyone need prayer please feel free to email me and I will pray for you.

When you need some help and don't know where to turn, just open up your Bible and begin to read a verse. The Lord will do wonders I can vouch for that. I asked the Lord to help me and he showed a verse. The next time I was in need I opened up my Bible and saw a verse to read.When I needed some help the Lord showed me a verse to read..So this is what I tell you now that when you are in need just open up your Bible and read a verse for thee.
. A pray for our troops
Dear Lord:
I know during this time of trouble that you will guide our troops and lay your hands on each and every one of them as they are your children. You will bring them home to there family safe. I ask you Lord to forgive our enemys for what they have done. I ask you Lord to help the familys and love ones of the service man and woman that have been killed or wounded as of now. I know you will show the families and love ones the way and the courage to continue with life. I ask you Lord to unite our people and have them pray for peace. I ask you Lord to take the bitterness away from those whom have sined against us and help them to realize that we are trying to help them. I also ask you Lord to watch over President Brush in all he does as he is trying to do the right thing in this war. Thank's to all our troops serving over seas and in America
